We are seeking a skilled and motivated Aviation Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team at Textron Aviation in Zurich, Switzerland.

With over 90 years of experience in designing and delivering exceptional aviation products, we have built a reputation for trustworthiness and reliability. Our diverse product portfolio includes business jets, turboprops, high-performance pistons, special mission, military trainer, and defense products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment for general aviation aircraft. Key responsibilities include:

• Laying out sheet metal parts using blueprints, drawings, written or verbal instructions

• Altering existing parts using blueprints, drawings, written or verbal commands

• Riveting and removing sheet metal components

• Bending and forming radii on fabricated sheet metal parts

• Drilling various metals, deburring holes, and cutting lines

• Setting up countersinking and dimpling of holes

• Installing solid rivets with a rivet gun and/or squeeze tool

• Ensuring parts meet quality specifications and requirements

• Using mechanics' hand tools and measuring devices, such as scales or protractors

• Performing other related duties as required

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

• A completed apprenticeship in sheet metal work or a similar field

• Preferably diversified aviation sheet metal experience

• Hands-on experience as a Sheet Metal Worker

• Self-motivation and teamwork skills

• European citizenship or permission to work in Switzerland

• Fluency in English and preferably German; any additional language is a plus

The estimated salary for this position is around CHF 80,000 - CHF 100,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
