About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment for general aviation aircraft. Your tasks may include setting up and operating fabricating machines, shaping metal over anvils or blocks, soldering and welding equipment, inspecting and assembling parts, and ensuring quality specifications are met.

Your day-to-day activities will involve laying out sheet metal parts using blueprints or verbal instructions, altering existing parts, riveting and removing sheet metal components, bending and forming radii on fabricated parts, drilling metals, deburring holes and cut lines, setting up countersinking and dimpling of holes, installing solid rivets, and performing other related duties as required.

Requirements
  • A graduated Apprenticeship in Sheet Metal field or similar
  • Diversified aviation sheet metal experience is preferred
  • Hands-on experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills
  • European citizen or with permission to work in Switzerland
  • Fluent in English and preferably also in German; any other language is an asset

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary estimated at 70,000 CHF per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
