About the Position
This Programme Manager for Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning position involves leading the development of tools and methodologies for ensuring an effective and coherent MEAL system and approach of the Division.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the development of tools and methodologies for ensuring an effective and coherent MEAL system and approach of the Division.
- Ensuring thorough understanding and knowledge of staff (HQ and field offices) of MEAL approach, requirements and tools.
- Serving as the Division's technical expert on all MEAL related activities.
- Maintaining regular exchanges with MEAL project officers in Country Offices and providing them with continuous support and advice for the collection and analysis of data.
Your Qualifications
We are seeking a professional and qualified person with at least 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and operating project MEAL systems from project initiation to closeout stages for governance programming.
Requirements:
- Advanced university degree in international affairs and development, governance, economics, statistics, evaluation research security studies, human rights or related disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of and experience in strategic planning and performance measurement, including indicator selection, target and baseline setting, reporting, database management, and developing M&E and/performance monitoring plans.
