Senior IT Application Manager

Our client is a dynamic organization that thrives on innovation and continuous improvement. As a key player in the industry, they are seeking a skilled Senior IT Application Manager to oversee various customer-facing and corporate applications.
Your Responsibilities- Ensure the correct functioning, availability, and performance of business applications through Incident and Problem Management.
- Sustainably implement functional and non-functional requirements, including Test, Defect, and Change Management.
- Coordinate and facilitate external developers to meet project objectives.
- Maintain adequate and well-structured documentation for seamless knowledge sharing.
- Support the team in adopting agile best practices, implementing agile ceremonies, and promoting self-organization.
- Track and manage impediments while keeping the KANBAN board up-to-date.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent/higher qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in development and/or application manager roles.
- Experience with vendor management, particularly setting and managing delivery expectations, plans, testing, etc.
- Proven experience as (part-time) Scrum Master.
- A strong background in Agile principles and way of work, coding standards, and industry best practices, including PowerShell.
- Proficiency in working with Azure Platform, DevOps (preferably Azure DevOps), .NET development (preferably C#), SQL (preferably T-SQL), REST API, and Web Applications.
- Excellent English language skills (minimum C1) and good German language skills (B1).
- Strong analytical capabilities, solution-oriented, customer-focused, confident, and self-organized.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong interest in helping the team adopt a culture of continuous improvement and self-management.
$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
