Job Title: Finance Assistant

WIPO is seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial support to the Accounts Payable Unit, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process financial data and correspondence, ensuring completeness and conformity with financial regulations and rules.
  • Calculate, verify, and enter payments and vouchers, as well as any reimbursements due.
  • Participate in testing and upgrading of financial systems.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and compile financial and statistical information.
  • Perform accounts reconciliation and identify anomalies, taking corrective action as needed.
Requirements:
  • Completion of secondary education.
  • At least three years of accounting or finance-related work experience.
  • Experience working with an ERP system.
  • Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English.
What We Offer:
  • Initial fixed-term appointment of one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance.
  • Annual salary of 71,936 CHF (net of tax).
  • Dependency allowances and language allowance.
