Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Director of Quality Assurance and Compliance to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for all products and processes within the company. This includes managing quality assurance, leading the quality assurance team, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Assurance: Ensure ongoing planning, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality for products, systems, and processes.
- Quality Control: Prioritize customer satisfaction by efficiently processing material returns and implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal product/process audits and implement improvements throughout the product life cycle.
- Compliance: Provide production support for compliance with RoHS, REACH, SVHC, POP, PFAS, and Conflict Minerals Regulation.
- Supplier Management: Ensure supplier compliance with quality, environmental, and regulatory standards through audits and contract management.
- Product Approvals: Obtain product approvals and serve as the primary contact for testing authorities.
- Regulatory Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in navigating EU regulatory requirements, including participation in standards committees and issuance of declarations of conformity.
- Team Leadership: Directly lead 3 teams of people at the headquarters and at a subsidiary.
- Education: University degree in a technical field of study (electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics).
- Experience: Extensive experience and sound expertise in quality assurance management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leading role as quality manager.
- Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, high level of comprehension and analytical thinking, solution-oriented personality, and ability to work under pressure.
- Language: Business fluency in German and English is mandatory.
