Associate Director of Quality Assurance

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Associate Director of Quality Assurance to join our team at Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. This role will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our quality assurance functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to quality assurance functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement quality management systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address any compliance issues or deviations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners to stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide training and guidance to quality assurance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement metrics and reporting to measure quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
- PharmD, Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Biology/Pharmacy or related life science.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, with a strong background in regulatory compliance and industry standards.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing quality management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and regulatory agencies.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective corrective action plans.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with additional European language(s) an advantage.
