Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Intraday Trader to join our team in Berne. As a key member of our Intraday Trading Team, you will play a leading role in developing and implementing trading strategies to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate actively as a trader in the European intraday markets, leveraging your expertise to drive trading results.
  • Develop and implement new trading approaches, building on existing strategies to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Contribute to the expansion of BKW's activities in the Benelux and Denmark regions, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Collaborate with a team of 12 professionals, working together to achieve trading and optimization goals for our flexibility portfolios.
Requirements
  • A technical or economic higher education degree is essential for this role.
  • Professional experience in energy or trading, with a focus on the Benelux and/or Denmark regions, is highly valued.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional language skills in German considered beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical skills are crucial for success in this position.
  • Experience with coding languages, such as Python, is a plus.
  • The ability to adapt, remain flexible, and work effectively under pressure is essential.
  • Prospective team members should be willing to participate in the team's 24/7 trading shift scheme.
