IPS is hiring a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Basel, Switzerland. As an Electrical Engineer at IPS, you will have the opportunity to work on complex technical challenges related to projects within the life sciences industry.
You will be responsible for providing planning and design support, applying your knowledge, skills, and passion to make a difference in the lives of people. This includes technical responsibility in defining electrical systems for bioprocess facilities, analysis, definition, specification, and documentation of client requirements for electrical equipment, and design leadership of electrical systems from concept to execution.
Your Job Summary
- Technical responsibility in defining electrical systems for bioprocess facilities
- Analysis, definition, specification, and documentation of client requirements for electrical equipment
- Design leadership of electrical systems from concept to execution
- Working as part of a design team on technically challenging bioprocess projects
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering
- 3+ years of electrical engineering design experience; life science industry exposure is a plus
- Knowledge of French or German electrical code and safety standards, Swiss code is a plus
- Knowledge in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, Caneco) is a plus
- Experience with design of building electrical systems, such as: building service, power distribution, emergency systems, lighting, fire alarm, security, and other low voltage systems
- Fluent in French and/or German and English (B1+)
