The Role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland. As a key member of our Contract Writing Team, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and issuing sales and purchase contracts, as well as related legal documents.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Drafting and reviewing sales and purchase contracts, including all related legal documents (NDA/LOI/Force Majeure declarations, letters of notice, claims, and similar).
  2. Negotiating and verifying contracts with Trading teams.
  3. Coordinating with Legal, Compliance, Insurance, Finance, and other corporate teams to ensure contract compliance with company standards, policies, and practices.
  4. Providing prompt and practical business-oriented legal and commercial advice directly to Trading teams.
  5. Identifying prospective legal and commercial risks and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  6. Supporting Zinc Department teams with various legal matters, queries, and disputes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in economics, law, or comparable education.
  • Fluency in English verbal and written, with good understanding of other languages.
  • Proficient in using IT applications (e.g., MS Office).
  • Swiss work permit or EU passport holder.
