We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in Zurich.
As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in handling financial transactions and ensuring smooth operation of our financial systems.
- Your responsibilities will include handling incoming and outgoing payments for all business units through SIC/EUROSIC/SWIFT, executing cash withdrawals/deposits at the cashier desk, administering Safe Deposit Box transactions (open, close), handling Vault transactions (physical delivery IN/OUT), managing MAESTRO-Debit-Cards, and handling Client and Corporate Credit Cards.
- You will also be responsible for executing Direct Debit and Cheque (issuance/collections) transactions, administering Foreign Exchange, Money Market and Option trades, and executing Ex-Custody booking.
- In addition, you will proactively manage ad-hoc requests/investigations, ensuring seamless financial operations.
To be successful in this role, you should have a commercial degree or higher banking education, with a minimum of 2 years banking experience in the Payments area.
You must have profound practical knowledge of Avaloq banking platform, a profound understanding of payments processing, excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), French is beneficial, good German skills (written and spoken), deep knowledge of SWIFT and SIC/EUROSIC systems, and basic knowledge on cheque handling/processing.
