Job Description

This experimental research work will be conducted at the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering's high-pressure test facility, utilizing a hydrogen sequential combustor. Laser-based optical diagnostics and plasma emission spectroscopy will be employed to investigate the effects of repetitively pulsed nanosecond discharges on the autoignition of hydrogen and hot vitiated air mixtures.

Your Profile

We seek a highly motivated and experienced PhD holder in Mechanical Engineering with a strong background in experimental combustion and plasma-assisted combustion. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, collecting and analyzing data, and publishing research outcomes in specialized and broad-audience journals.
