We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Specialist to join our team at Nordwand Group in Zurich. As a key member of our 3-man team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, including system monitoring and performance, configuration and migration, maintenance and repair, and user support/troubleshooting/administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain our Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, implementing solutions to prevent future problems.
- Configure and migrate systems to ensure seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our systems are running at peak performance.
- Provide user support and troubleshooting services to ensure our users have a positive experience.
- Very good knowledge of Linux (preferably Red Hat).
- Broad experience with networks (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Very good configuration management skills.
- Shell and Python scripting knowledge for automation.
- Several years' work experience in the design and maintenance of cloud infrastructure would be an asset.
- Knowledge with storage is an advantage.
- Knowledge with Apple clients is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Other languages are an advantage.
