Job Title: Associate Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Associate Director to lead our Medical Excellence programs globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic and operational alignment of Medical Excellence programs, ensuring successful development and execution of training, and identifying future business needs through industry trend analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units to shape the strategic and operational alignment of Field Medical functions.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to LOC medical excellence strategy and aligned processes.
  • Lead the development and implementation of medical capabilities and related tools.
  • Support the development of processes for synthesizing medical insights obtained during scientific exchange.
  • Lead discussions on Field Medical related systems and processes.
  • Represent Medical Excellence within global medical affairs teams.
  • Partner with Scientific Training and Learning Strategy to lead training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with R&D business unit internal partners to identify areas for projects and process improvement.
  • Perform all company activities in compliance with regulations, company policies, and industry or legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in health or life sciences related field.
  • Eight years of healthcare or related experience.
  • Three years of direct/matrix managerial experience in a medical affairs or field-based group.
  • Proven track record of strong strategic leadership, teamwork, innovation, project management, and ability to manage, lead, and mentor individuals.
  • Demonstrated understanding of global ethics & compliance, legal, and regulatory guidelines of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to understand and align the needs from Global, Regional, and LOC perspectives.
  • Proven ability to influence and have strong collaboration skills and change management.
  • Ability to oversee the creation of strategic, long-range plans and implement them successfully.
