RNA Therapeutics Innovation Manager

About the Role
Roche is seeking an experienced External Innovation Manager to join our RNA Hub team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will play a critical role in identifying and evaluating external innovation opportunities in RNA therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to access novel technologies and partnerships that enhance or complement oligonucleotides as drugs.
- Collaborate with RNA Hub project teams, external innovation networks, and Roche Partnering to co-develop and execute workstreams to bring outside innovation in.
- Build trustful relationships and effective collaborations with internal and external partners.
Requirements
- PhD in chemistry or related field with at least 5 years of experience in Pharma or Biotech in the field of drug discovery of oligonucleotide therapeutics.
- Proven track record of establishing and maintaining business-to-business relationships in drug discovery.
- Strong scientific understanding of RNA, oligonucleotide technologies, and oligonucleotide chemistries.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage in strategic business discussions and represent Roche's RNA Hub in external forums.
