The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish Moderna's presence in Switzerland, shape policy, and implement innovative healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute commercial strategies for launching pipeline assets in Switzerland, including vaccines and therapeutics that meet market penetration targets.
* Build and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including government, patient groups, KOLs, academic institutions, industry associations, and enterprises.
* Influence internal stakeholders on significant matters and take calculated risks to achieve ambitious outcomes.
* Lead strategic negotiations with senior government officials, pharmacy groups, wholesalers, or other players.
* Lead the implementation plan of the Swiss Go-To-Market model, which includes logistic, digital, and ordering capabilities.
* Represent and assume fiduciary, legal, and regulatory responsibilities.
* Manage issues with a solution-oriented mindset and maintain calm under pressure.
* Serve as a spokesperson for Moderna in media and strategic speaking engagements to build the corporate profile and advance thought leadership in Switzerland.
Requirements
* Advanced degree in business management, economics, finance, or life sciences-related disciplines (e.g., medical, pharmacy, biology, chemistry)
* At least ten years of demonstrated commercial leadership experience within the Biotech/Pharma industry
* Experience across commercial roles from marketing to stakeholder-facing roles, payers, and government relations as well as market access
