Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Feminist Peacebuilding Specialist to join our team in Bern, Switzerland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating our country programme in Ukraine and developing new peacebuilding initiatives in conflict regions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and implement principles for feminist peacebuilding during armed conflicts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local partners and international peacebuilding organizations.
  • Implement programmes according to international standards and prepare targeted information for external communication and fundraising.

Requirements:

  • A university degree or equivalent qualification and at least 10 years of professional experience in peacebuilding with experience in conflict contexts.
  • A strategic thinker with a proactive and inclusive approach to work, passionate about feminist values and PWAG's vision and mission.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); proficiency in German and French is a strong asset.
