HUG is seeking a Strategic Advisor for Local Governments to join our Geneva team. As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to the definition and implementation of public policies in Western Switzerland.

In this challenging context involving reforms and political requirements, our team plays a crucial role in shaping public policy. We work closely with clients to support their major transformations, leveraging our expertise in public sector management.

  • As a Strategic Advisor, you will work in project teams under the supervision of a manager.
  • You will support the project team with your expertise in public sector management.
  • Perform impactful quantitative and qualitative analysis, document preparation, research, and project management.
  • Further develop your skills around public sector challenges.
  • Support the acquisition of customers and projects in the Romandie area, leveraging on your current network and track record.
  • Actively contribute to building the BearingPoint network in the public sector within Switzerland.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in political science, economics or similar.
  • At least 2 years of experience in management consulting with a track record of projects in the Public Sector.
  • Native or fluent in French, business fluent in English (both written and spoken), German is an advantage.
  • Hermes certification is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate findings and value they bring to clients with impact orally and in writing.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in business development.
