We are seeking a skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team at Quest Global Services. As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our power equipment meets the necessary international certifications and regulatory requirements.

Job Summary:

The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for conducting compliance analysis, reviewing and validating compliance documents, and providing liaison support to project engineering and design teams. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of international certifications such as IEC, IECEx, CSA, UL, TUV, Intertek, and CE marking.

The successful candidate will also possess basic design knowledge in power equipment, including steam turbines, generators, and their accessories. Additionally, they should have a good understanding of Low Voltage Directive, EMI/EMC, Machinery Safety Directives (MD), and PED (Pressure Equipment Directives). Familiarity with energy efficiency requirements and corresponding labeling standards is also an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct compliance analysis and review of vendor documentation
  • Prepare information and conduct compliance KOM with stakeholders
  • Review and validation of compliance documents, including ATEX/IECEx/CSA/CUTR, LVD, EMC, PED Declaration of Conformity (DoC), Declaration of Incorporation (DoI), EC-Type examination certificate, Pressure Test Reports, Material Test Reports (MTR), Welding procedure, Welder qualification, Hardware Marking verifications
  • Liaison support for project engineering and design team for Compliance questions and clarifications

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in compliance management
  • Knowledge of international certifications and regulatory requirements
  • Basic design knowledge in power equipment
  • Familiarity with Low Voltage Directive, EMI/EMC, Machinery Safety Directives (MD), and PED (Pressure Equipment Directives)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of CHF 80,000 - CHF 120,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
