Job Description
Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineering Role:
As a Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer at Fortinet, you will lead all technical aspects of sales cycles with customers, from initial RFIs to RFPs and RFQs. This includes project management and active participation in Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) in partnership with internal and customer teams.
You will have the ability to listen and understand technical customer requirements, building solutions that outperform competitors' offerings.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain technical relationships with key customers and prospects.
- Leverage your expertise in security solutions to position Fortinet products effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful sales engagements.
- Maintain accurate activity, contact, and account technical information for customers and prospects.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of experience in technical or pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer with enterprise customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Pre-sales experience in security solutions, including firewalls, security proxies, and endpoint protection.
- Knowledge of modern security threats and their mitigation strategies.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
