Strategic Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

AliveDx is seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Eysins, Switzerland. This is a full-time permanent position that offers a dynamic and growing environment, where you will have the opportunity to live your passion for an intrapreneurial mindset and cultivate innovation and customer centricity.

Main Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance supplier quality, service levels, and delivery while reducing costs and increasing innovation.
  • Build, maintain, and manage strong strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term collaboration and mutual growth.
  • Develop and execute effective negotiation strategies for both existing and new supplier contracts to secure the best possible terms.
  • Optimize and rationalize indirect suppliers to streamline the supply chain, improve quality, and reduce costs.
  • Drive innovation by identifying new technologies and suppliers or leveraging the capabilities of existing suppliers in partnership with R&D.
  • Implement procurement best practices across all spending categories, with a focus on supplier relationship management.
  • Ensure strategic suppliers are investing in the necessary capacity to support the company's future growth.
  • Build resilience in the supply chain through strategic inventory management or alternative sourcing strategies.
  • Support best-in-class supplier governance, including clear communication, tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs), and alignment on joint objectives.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Senior Buyer or similar procurement role, ideally in medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in building effective supplier relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Quality, R&D).
  • Experience in managing and optimizing supplier portfolios.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, including supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement software, knowledge of Oracle would be a plus.
