Join Cartier's Team as a Store Design Planning Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Design Planning Manager to join our team in Geneva. As a key member of our Store Design Planning team, you will be responsible for providing local support to the regional or central Store Design Director on all aspects of store design project development for Retail & Specialists construction/renovation and supervising maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with senior management, regional and international counterparts, and architects to initiate and create needed projects.
- Assist in collecting and preparing information to start design packages, including site surveys, photos, reports, constraints, and guidelines.
- Coordinate and assist in security and back-office (IT, Training) guidelines for all Point of Sales (internal and external) opening in Switzerland.
- Liaise and work closely with local architects and landlords in the progress of the project, including executive/tendering drawings, permits, and local authorizations.
- Manage all operations processes from suppliers sourcing, suppliers forecasts, suppliers coordination, ordering fixtures & fittings, suppliers payment status.
- Follows all Point of Sales installation and provides as-built drawings, professional pictures, and final budget sheets.
- Perform quality checks and proper handovers upon project completion.
- Manage budgets of each project and validate all quotations, invoices, and payments related to the project.
Enhancement and Maintenance
- Ensure updates and maintenance of the network after the opening to match the quality standard.
- Manage local contract service providers to ensure scheduled maintenance and quality.
Team Management
- Engage, develop, and lead a team of 3 people.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years' professional experience, ideally in a retail or luxury segment, and experience in an international context.
- Experience in a Store Design Planning market and/or headquarters environment.
- Good knowledge of architect trends, the transformation of the field, and the Swiss Market.
- Autonomous, proactive, and agile, with a pragmatic approach. Proven project management skills.
- Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator), AutoCAD.
- Fluent in English; any additional language is a plus (German, Spanish).
- Ideal candidate is both creative and analytical.
