Credit Risk Management

The Head of Credit Risk will be responsible for leading the credit risk team covering the Gas, Power & Renewables division. This involves assessing the creditworthiness of counterparties, establishing and maintaining credit limits, and conducting regular reviews and stress tests to minimize risk exposure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in credit risk management, strong analytical skills, and leadership abilities to direct and mentor a team. They will report directly to the Global Head of Credit and work closely with existing Heads of Credit covering Oil, Bulk, and Freight/TFG Marine divisions.

Responsibilities and Requirements

This role requires:
  • Leading the credit risk team covering the newest and fastest-growing commercial division – Gas, Power & Renewables.
  • Assessing and monitoring the creditworthiness of counterparties, including customers, suppliers, and financial institutions.
  • Establishing and maintaining credit limits for counterparties based on thorough analysis of financial statements, market conditions, and other relevant factors.
  • Collaborating with trading, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment of credit risk policies with overall business objectives.
