Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Helping senior colleagues manage large and important customer relationships, and occasionally managing smaller client relationships.
  • Taking a lead in the administration of the entire client relationship, including onboarding new clients and products, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Identifying and following up on cross-buy opportunities.
  • Working closely with product specialists to develop tailor-made solutions that fit clients' needs.
  • Conducting market and client research, keeping up to date with relevant market updates and trends to advance sector knowledge and create a differentiating client experience.
  • Driving forward commercial and credit approval processes, ensuring timely execution of client transactions and opportunities.
  • Supporting the team in prospecting and onboarding new clients.
  • Contributing to stakeholder engagement by identifying relevant stakeholders and finding out their needs and concerns, proposing adequate solutions.
  • Taking part in internal projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Taking ownership of risk management, following procedures to assess and mitigate financial and non-financial risk while operating simple standardized business processes to protect the organization from undue risks.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for:

  • Approximately 1-3 years of experience in the financial sector, preferably in a role within a commercial bank.
  • Postgraduate education, preferably in Economics or Finance.
  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude, able to work with a high degree of autonomy and take on responsibility.
  • A customer-focused approach, understanding clients' needs and maintaining effective customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to manage complexity and work under tight timelines.
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills.
  • A balanced commercial vs. risk mindset.
  • A highly collaborative personality, a strong team player, and effective communicator.
  • An international mindset.
  • Fluency in English, with German or French being a plus.
