Your Role

As a Control Systems Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accelerator controls and embedded technologies.

You will work closely with our infrastructure team to configure and deploy embedded frontend systems, fieldbus components, and other equipment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Configuring and deploying embedded frontend systems (VME, cPCI, PICMG1.3, mTCA, PXIe) and fieldbus components (WorldFIP, MIL1553, General Machine Timing (GMT), White Rabbit).
  • Supporting and troubleshooting operational equipment to guarantee reliability and performance.
  • Performing corrective maintenance on deployed systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Managing hardware assets and documentation, including tracking deployed components and system configurations.
  • Collaborating with accelerator teams to adapt to user community requirements and enhance control systems.
