Our Work
We are currently seeking a Legal Advisor to join our team and support the implementation of our activities related to accountability for international crimes. This includes conducting investigation and documentation activities, analyzing large sets of evidence, and drafting legal complaints and other filings.

Responsibilities
As a Legal Advisor, you will be responsible for litigation activities, including implementing investigation and documentation activities for selected cases, analyzing evidence, conducting legal research, and drafting legal briefs. Additionally, you will support capacity building and advocacy efforts by preparing and delivering training sessions to partner organizations and engaging in advocacy efforts at the international level.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a post-graduate degree in law with specialization in international criminal law, international humanitarian law, and/or international human rights law. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a field related to national or international criminal justice, human rights, and/or international humanitarian law. Prior experience working as a lawyer, legal adviser, or legal officer in an NGO or related field is highly desirable. You must also have excellent legal analysis capabilities, strong research skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office IT tools, particularly Excel.
