About Our Client

We're working with a forward-thinking organization that's constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible. They're seeking a highly skilled SAP BI and Analytics professional to join their team.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with business stakeholders across various levels to provide expertise on BI/Analytics applications and interfaces with other systems.
  2. Oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of BI/Analytics applications based on QlikView and QlikSense.
  3. Evaluate effort requirements and manage related budgets.
  4. Lead nearshore/offshore developers and third-party providers as needed.
  5. Develop and implement governance processes for QlikView/QlikSense implementation and usage.
  6. Plan and deliver training sessions on QlikView and QlikSense for end-users, focusing on Self-Service Analytics.
  7. Identify opportunities for improvement in the application lifecycle and suggest recommendations for enhancement.
  8. Sustain proper operations and data currency of the existing application landscape, designing and updating required support frameworks.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in technical or business studies or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a BI/Analytics Consultant or similar role in an international corporation.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in defining and managing large-scale QlikView/Sense enterprise deployments.
  • Familiarity with Governed Self-Service BI concepts, enabling advice on best practices and storytelling visualizations.
  • Experience with SQL, including creating views and ad-hoc queries incorporating business logic.
  • Exposure to top management to meet expectations and escalate issues/risks.
  • Able to manage project requirements, design, development, code reviews, testing, and deployment phases.
  • First-hand experience with advanced analytics concepts on big data would be a plus (e.g., Machine Learning).
  • Experience extracting information from core SAP Financials and/or SAP Logistics modules, as well as SAP BI/BW, is a significant advantage.
  • Project management (PMP, Scrum) and IT Service Management (ITIL) experience is a strong asset.
  • Production/manufacturing background would be a valuable additional asset.
  • Fluent English is mandatory; German is a desirable asset.
