Scientific Services Manager

Main Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical assessments of technologies and therapies for the treatment of diabetes, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver medical and educational training programs to support the adoption of Ypsomed's solutions, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.
- Create scientific materials to support the dissemination of clinical evidence demonstrating the medical benefits of Ypsomed's solutions, enhancing the company's reputation and credibility.
- Support the development and implementation of global clinical research projects, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among stakeholders.
- Participate in scientific conferences and workshops to maintain industry knowledge and present scientific data to healthcare professionals, staying up-to-date with the latest developments.
- Organize and develop scientific content from scientific symposia, providing valuable insights and expertise to the company and its partners.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage with patient communities and advocacy groups, promoting awareness and understanding of Ypsomed's solutions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and research institutions, collaborating on joint projects and research initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, market access, and regulatory teams to develop strategies and deliver specific programs, ensuring alignment and cohesion.
- Serve as the scientific and medical resource for the teams on the field, providing expert guidance and support.
- Review and validate medical messages and promotional materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in life science or related field.
- More than 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, in clinical research, medical science, or related activities.
- Experience in the diabetes area is highly desirable, with experience in digital health technologies being an advantage.
- Strong scientific understanding, ability to interpret and communicate scientific data.
- Solid interpersonal, project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Cross-cultural competence and ability to work effectively in a diverse and international environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a structured and creative approach to problem solving.
- Knowledgeable in the regulatory environment for medical devices, with knowledge of the diabetes care area being advantageous.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with other languages being an advantage.
