About the Project

The emergence of pan-resistant bacteria has rendered commonly available antibiotics ineffective, highlighting the need for alternative strategies to identify clinically effective treatments. Our project aims to develop a novel mRNA-based strategy for the treatment of antibiotic-resistant pulmonary infections by leveraging nanoparticle and mRNA technologies.

Key Objectives

  • Develop a novel mRNA therapeutic approach for antibiotic-resistant pulmonary infections
  • Utilize nanoparticle technology to enhance mRNA delivery and efficacy
  • Investigate the potential of mRNA therapies against antimicrobial resistance

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates should have a relevant background in biology, chemistry, nanosciences, or a similar field (Master's degree required). Prior experience in microbiology, molecular biology, nanoformulation development, or a related field is essential. The successful candidate will acquire a wide range of skills in nanoformulation development, mRNA delivery, transfection, microbial and mammalian cell cultures.
