Strategic Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Strategic Account Manager - Partnering Systems EMEA at Tecan.



This position will be responsible for managing and growing our Partnering Business (PB) Sales in the EMEA region, driving business growth, managing key accounts, and developing project proposals.



Your Key Responsibilities


  • Manage PB OEM system sales and assigned accounts within the region and some global accounts while driving business growth.
  • Develop project proposals, statements of work, development project quotations, budgetary estimates, and negotiate and finalize development and supply contracts with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate account approaches with relevant stakeholders, including local Life Sciences Business (LSB) Regional Offices (ROs), and create and implement annual geographical and account-specific plans for the territory to secure order entry and sales, meeting and exceeding budget targets.


Your Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or IVD lab-related field, along with additional education in Business Management and strategic B2B selling.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in managing large accounts and sales in Life Sciences or IVD, specifically OEM sales, with international experience.
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to close complex B2B contracts.
  • Experience in leading a sales team.
  • Excellent English; additional languages like German are advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
