About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for advising clients on technology and delivering solutions that meet their needs.
- Advise clients on technology during sprint zero and collaborate with the engineering team to deliver solutions;
- Owning one value stream within Blue Harvest, enabling our engineers and driving company growth;
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a group of highly experienced engineers by setting high standards and promoting collaboration;
- Contribute to a culture where development paths are self-determined, supporting and guiding growth opportunities.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Several years of experience in software development, preferably with Java, .NET Core, or JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, or Next;
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to lead and support people, coach delivery across engineering teams, and promote a culture of excellence;
- Familiarity with design patterns, software development best practices, cloud platforms, containers, and Kafka or other message queue platforms;
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively in English and French.
