About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Director - Automotive to join our team at SMG Swiss Marketplace Group. As a key member of our Automotive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving the development and deployment of web and app platforms that align with our company's vision and growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction of the product, balancing transparent planning with adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Own and drive the full product lifecycle from research to design to launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Work cross-functionally with colleagues from Engineering, Business, Marketing, and Data teams to leverage expertise and drive business outcomes.
  • Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing product team, including Product Managers, Researchers, and UX Designers.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the success of products and identify areas for improvement.
  • Define and moderate roadmap and product planning processes, taking into account new industry developments and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Experience in effectively leading and motivating product teams across various functional roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering optimal customer experiences and value propositions in digital environments.
  • Deep understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple products and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience leading deeply technical product plans and aligning business strategy and technology delivery.
  • Proven change agent and strong strategic thinker.
  • Proven track record of clear communications with C-suite stakeholders and across cross-functional teams.
  • Data-driven method for decision-making using KPIs and metrics.
