Deputy Plant Financial Controller

Johnson Electric is seeking a seasoned Deputy Plant Financial Controller to drive profitability improvement at our Murten plant in Switzerland. This is a one-year fixed-term contract with the option to extend.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in month-end closings and prepare financial statements and operational reports for the site.
  • Present monthly manufacturing variances to drive performance improvements.
  • Support budgeting and financial controlling activities.
  • Ensure inventory management and standard costing objectives are met.
  • Manage financial aspects of site CAPEX and track monthly cash-flows.
  • Act as a finance business partner for site development programs.
  • Prepare financial reports for business reviews.
  • Maintain close collaboration with BU Controllers, regional FP&A Team, and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead reporting automation initiatives.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Financial Controller role in a manufacturing business environment.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Knowledge of French language is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience with Oracle is an advantage.
