About the Role
Vorwerk International & Co. KmG is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement information security policies and procedures to protect our organization's assets.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential security threats to our systems and data.
- Collaborate with our global information security organization to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to our business units on information security best practices.
- Develop and implement incident response plans to mitigate the impact of security breaches.
- Manage and maintain our security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure our organization remains secure.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in information security, with a focus on risk management and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, regulations, and standards, including ISO 27001.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.
