We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our team in Geneva. As part of the corporate and major projects team, you will play a crucial role in structuring, drafting, and negotiating finance agreements at both the holding and subsidiary level.
ResponsibilitiesSome of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing expert legal advice to key stakeholders on various subjects.
- Negotiating new concessions with a focus on bankability aspects.
- Structuring and providing expert legal advice on financial transactions.
- Drafting and negotiating finance agreements involving commercial bank debt, debt capital market transactions, multilateral financing, and equipment leasing.
- Managing currency and interest rate hedging.
- Ensuring compliance with finance agreement terms and proposing effective solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's Degree in Law.
- Proven experience in negotiating and drafting financing agreements with commercial banks, institutional investors, and multilateral institutions.
- 7-10 years of work experience in finance-related legal positions, preferably within a law firm, bank, BIG Four or corporate legal department.
- Project finance experience is highly desirable.
- An excellent command of both written and spoken English; knowledge of French is highly desirable.
