Principal Structural Engineer

As a pivotal member of our team, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge aviation technology, specifically the AW09 helicopter, which stands out for its spacious cabin and advanced modularity. Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Analysis Lead Engineer with expertise in structural stress analysis to join our dynamic team.

► Perform sizing and stress evaluations of airframe structures utilizing hand calculations, numerical simulations (FEM), and optimization methods.
► Conduct structural assessments in line with aerospace analysis standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
► Engage in trade studies as part of the product development process.
► Execute static and fatigue analyses for structures to support prototype flight permits or aircraft type certifications.
► Assist in defining material and structural testing protocols.
► Prepare comprehensive analysis reports, technical documentation, and presentations.
► Manage and oversee work packages executed both internally and externally.
► Support flight testing activities with a focus on structural integrity, including defining monitoring limits and reviewing flight test data.

Qualifications & Experience

► Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering or a related field.
► Proficient understanding of lightweight structural design principles.
► At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the aerospace sector.
► Familiarity with applicable regulatory frameworks.
► Proficient in English (minimum B2 level, both spoken and written).
► Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on deliverables.
► Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently and independently.

Essential Skills:
► Proficient in first principles analysis.
► Experience with traditional hand calculation techniques.
► Knowledge of composite materials and their analysis.
► Familiarity with FEA tools such as Hyperworks, Hypermesh, and Nastran/Optistruct.
► Proven experience in optimizing lightweight structures.
