Equipment Installation Specialist

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Installation Specialist to join our team at Schaerer AG. As a Field Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation and management of field test equipment for new product releases and key account tests.

Main Responsibilities:

• Install, monitor, review, and decommission field test equipment, including hardware and software updates on strict timelines with the Technical Product and Technical Sales teams.
• Regularly visit testing sites to review hardware and software performance and user experience, focusing on optimizing overall equipment performance and adherence to customer requirements.
• Manage consistent and timely updating of equipment in test to ensure customer feedback is gathered using current platform improvements.
• Execute in-field repairs of test equipment as needed or in partnership with locally trained service partners, acting as a first point of escalation for service partners if required.
• Provide analysis and reports of test units at defined intervals and after field visits to ensure equipment meets and exceeds expected KPIs in various testing environments and issues are addressed with correct priority levels.
• Collate reports describing ongoing test and field equipment failures, component, and software issues to Technical Product Managers for escalation to appropriate quality teams.
• Partner with Technical Product Managers for planning and executing local lab testing related to customer feedback or found issues from field visits.
• Maintain a hybrid presence in Irvine or Montebello offices in regular intervals for feedback sessions, lab testing of identified equipment topics, and equipment training with technical teams.
• Become SME for equipment, acting as a technical resource and final local escalation point for multiple departments regarding technical issues or requests.
