Job DescriptionRole Overview:
The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth and expansion in the trade finance sector, leveraging a deep understanding of trade and trade finance documentary processes and technology-driven solutions.
This role requires a strong network in the Geneva banking ecosystem, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in selling sophisticated technology products to senior banking personas.
The ideal candidate will possess entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and the ability to develop tailored sales plans and execute against them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a 30-60-90-day and 1-year sales plan targeting major trade finance banks.
- Client Engagement: Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers (CFOs, Chief Risk Officers, Heads of Trade Finance).
- Sophisticated Selling Approach: Adapt your sales tactics to various stakeholders within banking organizations, understanding their unique priorities and pain points.
- Technology Expertise: Articulate the value of tokenization and advanced technology solutions in the trade finance context.
- Resilience & Persistence: Drive long-cycle sales engagements with determination and follow-through.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product and technical teams to ensure client needs are understood and addressed.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in trade finance, trading, or a combination of both, with a track record at one or more trading houses in Switzerland.
- Proven success in selling sophisticated technology products to senior banking personas.
- Deep understanding of trade and trade finance documentary processes and technology-driven solutions.
Network:
- A deep and broad network in the Geneva banking ecosystem.
- Strong sales acumen, with a methodical and strategic approach.
- Ability to develop tailored sales plans and execute against them.
- Exceptional communication skills; articulate and persuasive.
