Are you passionate about advancing healthcare and making a meaningful difference in people's lives? As a Cytogenetic Technologist at CHG Labcorp Central Laboratory Services S.à r.l., you'll play a critical role in the development of new FISH service offerings, ensuring the accuracy and precision of results that impact patient care.

We're seeking an experienced cytogenetic professional with a strong background in FISH techniques to join our team. In this role, you will:

  • Support the development of new FISH service offerings to expand our capabilities and improve patient outcomes.
  • Perform cytogenetic techniques, including semi-automated and manual staining, to ensure high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret FISH results under their supervision.
  • Prepare workstations, instrumentation, and maintain equipment daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Monitor reagents, materials, and supplies to optimize workflow and minimize waste.
  • Contribute to process improvements by collaborating with other team members to enhance procedures and efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety and occupational health policies and standards, prioritizing a safe working environment.
  • Routine decalcification, processing, embedding, microtomy, and re-embedding of human tissue specimens from patients enrolled in clinical trials.
  • Maintain proper storage conditions and traceability of Histology blocks and slides (stained and unstained).

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000-$110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, global experience, and opportunities for growth and development in a learning-based culture.

This role requires:

  • At least 3 years of previous cytogenetic (FISH) experience.
  • Fluency in French.
  • Diploma: Medical Technologist (CFC holder), Pharmaceutical Biology Technologist (CFC holder), Medical Technologist (Swiss State School of Medical Technologist Degree holder), or Medical Technologist (BTS, DUT, IUT Degree holder).
