Monitoring and Evaluation Lead, Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation

Role Summary
The World Economic Forum is seeking a highly skilled Monitoring and Evaluation Lead to join its Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation team in Geneva. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective monitoring and evaluation strategies to track the progress of trade facilitation programs and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Alliance results framework, collecting and analyzing data to inform decision-making and track progress towards objectives.
- Lead the response to donor data requests, ensuring alignment with their requirements and producing high-quality data for stakeholders.
- Process and analyze data on global-level and project-level indicators, using statistical techniques to inform program and project decisions.
- Oversee project M&E requirements, including tasks such as drafting M&E-related sections in project proposals and guiding project officers to ensure M&E requirements are met.
- Lead the development and enhancement of M&E data collection tools, with a focus on qualitative data collection methodologies.
- Design and implement surveys to collect data for the Alliance Results Framework and update, collect, and validate data for internal tracker tools.
- Assist staff in identifying and documenting lessons learned and emerging best practices from Alliance projects and operations.
- Contribute to fostering a monitoring and evaluation culture within the Organization through capacity building and supporting staff and management in utilizing data to improve performance.
- Participate in the collection of data and design of tools for other sources of information, such as case studies, research briefs, and knowledge papers.
- Produce monitoring and evaluation knowledge management products to improve access and use of evaluative evidence.
- Manage the lessons learned database and organize project completion reports.
Requirements and Experience
- Advanced degree in economics, social sciences, statistics, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of professional experience relevant to monitoring and evaluation, with experience on trade facilitation, international trade economics, or international development an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of and skills in applied monitoring and evaluation/social science research methods and statistical techniques.
- Knowledge of theories of change and logic models and ability to facilitate development of theories of change and logic models.
- Experience in quantitative, qualitative, and/or mixed methods research and monitoring and evaluation methods is required.
- Knowledge of Airtable and Tableau software a plus.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Attention to detail, superior organization skills, and ability to operate within tight deadlines.
