Product Owner

We're seeking a Product Owner for our Securities Settlement team with expertise in related regulations and a proven track record of successful delivery. As part of our Core Banking department, you'll work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, developers, and other product owners to develop a product vision and roadmap that supports our organization's strategic direction.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to establish effective communication and ensure clear understanding of emerging needs and issues.
• Foster a positive product team dynamic while maximising ROI of product features and end-users' satisfaction.
• Maintain and prioritise the backlog, including changes and project demands, to guarantee stability and sustainability over the long term.
• Create sprint goals, actionable epics, and user stories based on requirements defined for each feature in collaboration with the product team.
• Participate in project estimation costs based on business requirements.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Proven experience in securities settlement and knowledge of related regulations.
• Experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or similar role, demonstrating successful delivery on various scope and complexity.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Service Now, Clarity).
• Business and technical knowledge in banking products (a definite plus).
• Good knowledge of SQL language, REST protocols, and communication buses such as Kafka.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
• Good knowledge of Scrum and agile software development methodologies.
• Agile certifications (e.g., CSPO, SAFe) are a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders, experts, and external third parties in English.
