**About the Role**

As a key member of the Global Quality Engineering team at Lonza, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our projects. We are seeking an experienced leader to lead the Quality Assurance activities for a Capex project, driving the CQV Lifecycle Program for new facilities, equipment, and utilities related to the GMP manufacturing of biologics & APIs.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement quality strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Oversee department operations, including staff management, performance monitoring, and talent development.
  • Monitor industry trends and developments, and share knowledge with colleagues to ensure the organization remains competitive.
  • Develop long-term strategies for the Visp Project Portfolio, including goal setting and plan creation.

**Requirements**

  • Master of Science in Bio-Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working in a GMP-related environment in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of leadership experience in a Quality Unit, preferably in Biologics or Cell Gene.
  • Proficient experience in CAPEX execution, with green-field experience an advantage.
  • Experience in Regulatory inspections and Project Management.
  • Fluent in English, with German language skills an advantage.
