Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Zurich-Oerlikon. As a key member of our logistics and procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the procurement strategy for our Generator Circuit Breaker (GCB) products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a sourcing strategy for GCB products that aligns with the company's business objectives.
Ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
Drive improvements in cost, quality, and delivery in accordance with Group guidelines and local division/business unit objectives.
Manage the planning and tracking of procurement activities, ensuring risk mitigation and cost-saving measures.
Monitor procurement processes and activities and proactively work to resolve issues related to procurement cost, quality, and delivery to ensure the plant is running smoothly at all times.
Define and establish local standard agreements with all major local suppliers in accordance with company policy.
Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, qualified, and managed, leading, motivating, and developing subordinates in accordance with our HR policies.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management and/or Engineering.
Several years of experience in a similar role, supported by a solid understanding of the procure-to-pay processes in an industrial environment.
Knowledge of the high voltage product market would be an asset.
Strong leadership experience or clearly demonstrated leadership potential.
Fluency in English and German. Other language skills would be an asset.
High energy and drive to work in a dynamic and global environment.
Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization.
Strong interpersonal skills that demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
