Compliance Verification Specialist

Jet Aviation AG is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Verification Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Office of Airworthiness, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards related to cabin safety and interiors.
Main Responsibilities:- Classify changes and repairs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review, verify, and approve engineering documentation, test plans, analysis, and other certification documents related to design changes, modifications, and repairs.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies for STCs and attend meetings to ensure compliance.
- Prepare certification programs and manage STC projects as the Office of Airworthiness focal point for engineering.
- Provide technical guidance and advice to the engineering team on compliance matters.
- Perform compliance inspections of cabin interiors and preliminary LOPA certification reviews to identify non-compliances.
- Witness ground and flight tests, including conformity, and perform cabin safety CVE roles in flight test activities.
- Verify compliance with OSD-Cabin Crew Data and develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including quality, program management, production, installation, supply chain management, and liaise with customers and suppliers on cabin safety matters.
- Coach and mentor design organisation staff and assist the Office of Airworthiness in developing procedures to maintain Design Organisation Approvals.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations and practices and serve as a subject matter expert advising on subcontractor qualification.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Design Organisation.
- EASA Part 21J CVE in Cabin Safety.
- Experience in both minor and major changes.
- Expert knowledge of EASA regulations and standards related to cabin safety.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Successful working experience in highly collaborative environments, demonstrating the ability to take initiatives and lead efforts inside the team.
- Fluent command of the English language - both written and spoken.
- Acted as Project Certification Manager or Lead CVE on STC projects.
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure.
- Proactive, forward-thinking, and a team worker.
- Demonstrated principal engineer role.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency).
