About the Role

As an IT Infrastructure Manager at Michael Page, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's physical and virtual IT infrastructure to ensure it is secure, scalable, and efficiently supports the organisation's operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Management: Develop and implement strategies to ensure the company's IT infrastructure is aligned with business objectives.
  • System Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Implement and maintain tools for monitoring the health and performance of IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Cybersecurity Oversight: Develop and enforce policies to protect the organisation's data and IT assets from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning: Establish and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal disruption to business operations in the event of an outage or disaster.
  • Vendor and Contract Management: Manage relationships with software and hardware vendors, service providers, and other third-party entities to ensure optimal service delivery and cost control.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the IT operations budget, including forecasting future needs, managing costs, and ensuring investments in technology deliver value to the organisation.
  • IT Support and Service Management: Oversee the IT support team to ensure they provide timely and effective support services to employees, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate IT projects that improve operational efficiency and introduce new technologies, ensuring successful project delivery and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Policy Development and Compliance: Develop IT policies and procedures that comply with legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring the organisation remains compliant and up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Manage the IT operations team, including hiring, training, and professional development, to ensure the team has the skills and expertise required to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in IT, preferably in a multi-site and international environment.
  • Skills: Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructures, including services such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, and VMware solutions for virtualisation and cloud computing needs.
  • Technical Skills: Skilled in the use of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong project management skills and experience, excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, other languages would be a plus.
