Job Title: Cryogenic Engineer - High Field Magnet Programme
CERN is seeking a highly skilled Cryogenic Engineer to join the High Field Magnet Programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, commissioning, and operation of a dedicated experimental set-up to test cooling options for magnets that use forced flow in confined geometries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop experimental test stations
- Conduct thermohydraulic validation studies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure effective communication and presentation of results
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mech/Aerospace/Process Eng. Appl Physics or related field
- 2-6 years of post-graduation professional experience
- Fluent in English, ability to work in French an advantage
