Decathlon Regional Operations Director

We are looking for an experienced Regional Operations Manager to join our team in Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of customers and teammates, managing stock availability and accuracy, and optimizing store operations.

Decathlon is a leading international retailer of sports equipment and apparel. We have been serving customers in Switzerland since 2016 and have grown significantly, with over 1,000 employees working in our 5 sectors across 33 stores.

This is a critical role within our organization, requiring someone with strong leadership skills and experience in store operations management. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the safety and security of customers and teammates, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing action plans to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Managing stock availability and accuracy, ensuring efficient product flow, and optimizing inventory levels to minimize waste and excess stock.
• Optimizing store operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in store operations management or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, stock control, and supply chain optimization.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.

The role is based in the Bern or Fribourg region, with regular travel to other locations required.
