Chief Technology Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Technology Strategist to drive our technology vision forward. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of strategic alignment, technology advisory, and cloud technologies. They will play a pivotal role in guiding our technology strategy, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring seamless integration across multiple platforms while adhering to best practices in security and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Alignment & Technology Advisory: Align business objectives with technology strategy, providing expert advice to stakeholders on aligning solutions with organizational goals and long-term vision.
  • System Design & Integration: Lead comprehensive system design and integration planning, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient architecture that supports business requirements.
  • Cloud & Security Expertise: Provide deep knowledge and hands-on experience in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and security best practices to ensure the solutions are robust, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Risk Mitigation & Technology Evaluation: Propose risk mitigation strategies and evaluate new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and minimize potential vulnerabilities.
  • Architecture Artifacts & Solution Design: Produce high-quality architecture artifacts, propose solution architectures, and facilitate critical decisions that shape the organization's technical landscape.
  • Collaboration & Facilitation: Act as a bridge between business, technical teams, and vendors, facilitating collaboration, communication, and alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Agile Methodologies & Vendor Management: Promote an agile way of working to ensure flexibility, fast iteration, and continuous improvement. Work closely with vendors to evaluate and select technology solutions that meet business needs.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in strategic technology alignment and advisory roles.
    • Extensive hands-on experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security practices.
    • Expertise in comprehensive system design, integration planning, and proposing solution architectures.
    • Strong experience in risk mitigation strategies, technology evaluation, and collaboration facilitation.
    • Experience in Agile methodologies and working with vendors to deliver large-scale projects.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive technical decisions.
    • Deep understanding of cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, security frameworks, and integration techniques.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to propose innovative solutions.
    • Proficiency in creating and managing architecture artifacts and documentation.
