Novartis Farmacéutica is seeking a highly skilled Intellectual Property Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Patent Support team, you will be responsible for providing complex intellectual property administrative support to our patent practitioners.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Filing and maintaining international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence.
- Preparing documents required for European patent filings, Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and foreign applications.
- Maintaining and sharing knowledge of the latest patent rules and adapting practices to comply.
- Monitoring and updating electronic dockets for responsible attorneys and assigned paralegal tasks.
- Coordinating outsourcing, transfer in, and transfer out of patent files and responsibilities.
We are looking for someone with:
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Demonstrated professional experience as a patent paralegal in a patent law firm or corporation with international and foreign filing experience.
- Ability to work well and meet deadlines without supervision in an electronic office environment.
