Job SummaryThe EHS Design and Compliance Engineer will be responsible for implementing EHS requirements at all stages of an investment project. This involves evaluating safety impacts, collaborating with design teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Key Accountabilities:
- Evaluate safety impacts throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with design teams to embed safety, environmental, and sustainability aspects into project designs
- Participate in risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Maintain documentation to support regulatory audits and compliance checks
- Develop and manage EHS deliverables
- Monitor project progress against defined EHS milestones
- Qualifications:
- Masters in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Process Engineering, Safety Engineer, or equivalent
- Strong communication skills in German and English, both verbal and written
- Strong presentation skills for developing and delivering training to elevate knowledge, skills, and behaviors at multiple levels of the organization
- Dealing with high-level ambiguity using coaching skills
